Nat Geo x Toyota 4Runner

Toyota collaborated with National Geographic to reframe the newest 4Runner for modern adventure seekers by asking a simple question: “What does the wild mean to you?” Featuring photographer and explorer Jody MacDonald, the campaign explored how the wild can be a playground, proving ground, or sanctuary—positioning the 4Runner as the constant across every definition of adventure. Through a hero short-form film and integrated digital and social storytelling, the vehicle’s capabilities were revealed organically through lived experience, grounded in National Geographic’s storytelling authority.*
