Nat Geo x Costa Sunglasses
Why do we explore? In collaboration with Costa Sunglasses and Starcom media agency, National Geographic CreativeWorks set out to uncover why modern adventurers are drawn to life on the water and what gives their journeys meaning as part of Costa’s “See What’s Out There” campaign–an invitation to explore every stretch, bend, and corner of our watery world. We partnered with National Geographic photographer and Costa ambassador Andy Mann to document his two-week expedition to Chile’s remote Juan Fernández Islands in April 2025, spotlighting efforts by the local community to expand marine protected areas. Through authentic, purpose-driven storytelling and organic product integration, we successfully positioned Costa as a high-performance eyewear brand that inspires exploration and champions the protection of oceans and waterways. The custom content rollout spanned social, digital, and streaming platforms, strategically coinciding with World Oceans Day and the launch of Costa’s new Untangled™ Collection, crafted from recycled fishing nets.*
