Nat Geo x CitiAAdvantage - Tokyo
Citi, American Airlines and Nat Geo collaborated to position the Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® card as the card that ignites exploration in the second installment of the custom content series This City Is Your Next Adventure, this time visiting dynamic Tokyo. This year’s campaign followed National Geographic photographer (and Platinum Select® cardholder) Jonathan Irish as he explored one of the world’s biggest cities through the themes of food, craft, markets, and wellness. These thematic stories provided audiences with a unique perspective and showcased unexpected cultural experiences in and around Tokyo, all while featuring organically integrated purchase moments. Content included custom photo posts, vertical videos, and vertical stories across Nat Geo’s social accounts, a :60 trailer streaming on Hulu and Disney+, and in-depth articles and travel guides on natgeo.com that encouraged our audience to travel on and find “Your Next Adventure”.*
